Media coverage for our publication in Nature Materials
The media coverage for our Nature Materials paper online from September 23, 2019 has already surpass the coverage for our previous papers, now ranked above our Nature Communications paper from 2018 1st in its class. Our Nature Materials is 4th in its class as of October 2019. The work has been highlighted in the News and Views section with an article describing our achievements written by Prof. Ren-Min Ma, he is an expert in plasmon nanolasing from the school of Physics at Peking University. The coverage in the scientific media includes blogs from: Bioengineer, ReliaWire, Medgadget, and Helthinnovations, all highlighting the potential uses of these small lasers in biology and nanomedicine for being benign to living cells and tissues. The news articles echoed this argument that these small lasers present the highest potential nowadays to become relevant for the integration with living organisms opening the doors to the future of fully biocompatible biologically integrated nanolasers. The 15 articles up to now can be found in: Nanowerk, Science Daily, Phys.org, Nanotechnology Now, The Register, Google News, Weather herald, and Long Room.
